Washington DC LDS Wedding - Lauren+Jared

Lauren and Jared planned their wedding from a distance - they both live and work in Utah, but their wedding ceremony would take place on the East Coast. That being said, I had never met Jared nor Lauren until the morning they walked out of the Washington, DC LDS Temple after being sealed! However, as I waited for them to make their debut as the brand new Mr. And Mrs, I could see family starting to gather and I quickly found myself chatting up a storm with the bride's father. I could tell he was proud, nervous, and just a touch sad on this special day, the day he gave his daughter away to another man. I instantly sensed their close relationship, and I was reminded of my own relationship with MY father, and the feelings I had on my wedding day.

Tears were shed, but mostly happy ones, as Lauren and Jared exited the temple and greeted their cheering family and friends.

Then we sent the family off to prepare for their ring ceremony, while I followed Lauren and Jared around the temple to capture their first few minutes as husband and wife.

Lauren, you are such a beautiful bride!!

Afterwards, we dashed off to the Marriott in Bethesda for a special ring-exchange ceremony, a tradition some Mormon couples choose to do in order to include family and friends unable to attend their ceremony held within the temple.

I wish you all the love in the world.....to eternity!
